T.J. Kuster

Sports Performance Coordinator

T.J. has a Master's of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training.  He is a certified athletic trainer (ATC), certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), certified personal trainer through the NCSF, and is a certified Parisi Performance Coach.  T.J. is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Training and Performance Center, supervising sports performance staff, and providing a professional and valuable member experience.  T.J.'s passion in life is helping others achieve their performance and fitness goals. He became interested in health and fitness after accumulating various injuries throughout his sports career, and it...

Sports Performance Coach

Matt has a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is currently completing his Master’s of Science in Exercise Physiology at Illinois State University. Once he graduates from Illinois State, he plans on furthering his education and obtaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Jason received his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Illinois State University and is continuing at the university for a Master’s in Biomechanics. Jason is a certified personal trainer through ACE, a USAW Level 1 Coach and a Parisi Performance Coach.  Jason started personal training in 2014 and also gained experience with group training, yoga and sports training. Shanna Hutchison

Sports Performance Coach

Shanna graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville. Currently she is in nursing school at Methodist College and will graduate in May with her BSN. Shanna also works in the therapy department at McLean County Orthopedics as a Therapy Tech, and is FMS (Functional Movement Systems) certified. She was a soccer player through college, and has always had a passion for exercise and sports. Through her years working for MCO, Shanna has developed more knowledge for proper body mechanics and has valued the importance of functional movement for people of all ages.

Kristin Hammel

Sports Performance Coach

Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Illinois State University. She is a NASM certified personal trainer and is a certified Parisi Performance Coach. She is a former collegiate athlete in track and field and grew up playing a variety of sports. Her goal is to deliver safe and effective exercise programming for individuals of all age ranges and skill levels to achieve optimal health and wellness and to help prevent injuries. Her experience working in various settings ranging from sports performance to cardiac rehab has aided her in her passion to help others achieve a healthy lifestyle and reach their fitness goals.

Jenna has both a Masters in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Illinois State University. She is an ACE certified personal trainer, and is certified both FMS and Y Balance. She has over 10 years experience in the field working as a personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, and managing fitness programs. Michael Krzus

Sports Performance Coach

Michael graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Illinois State University. He completed a full time internship with EXOS in Los Angeles California, where he worked with a variety of athletes (youth, professional, and international.) During his time in L.A. Michael learned the importance of having proper functional movement and how it increases performance. Michael is a former Collegiate Baseball pitcher, playing 2 years for Danville Area CC. He strives to teach his athletes about proper strength and conditioning which will allow them meet their goals. In the future Michael plans to continue his education by pursuing Physical Therapy.
