Youth Speed

For youth athletes ages 8-14

JOIN US THIS SUMMER FOR TPC YOUTH SPEED SESSIONS!

These velocity building sessions are for athletes ages 8 to 14 and will focus on speed techniques and exercises related to support speed improvement.

We will focus on the 5 S’s of training and performance:

  • Speed
  • Skill
  • Strength (related to speed improvement)
  • Stamina (endurance)
  • Suppleness (flexibility)

 

Research shows that boys and girls have two key periods for optimal athletic development. The first window starts at around age 8, focusing on readiness, motor skills, and basic speed training. The second window, around ages 13 for boys and 11 for girls, emphasizes stamina, advanced speed and strength training.

Don’t miss out on these crucial periods for young athletes to maximize their potential!

Classes offered Monday – Thursday 5 pm to 6 pm
Choose from 2 or 3 days per week.

2x/week – Members: $99/month; Non-Members: $129/month
3x/week – Members: $129/month; Non-Members: $149/month
